Hilary Cochrane is exceptional in being able to make the extraordinary ordinary and accessible to people in a business context. Hilary creates the environment for sustainable change to happen easily, for individuals and groups.

She connects personal change with corporate need and business value. Her experience of working with cross-cultural and cross-discipline teams enables them to create ways of working together, establishing sound communication and robust decision making strategies. She always pays attention to the goals of the organisation so that value is delivered throughout.

Hilary has 13 years experience coaching at senior levels in large multinational organisations and smaller, niche companies in the US, Asia, Europe and the UK and in supervising coaches working with organisations. Her 20 years experience in the IT industry in Consulting, Sales and Management and a first career in the theatre have given her a real breadth of understanding of the dynamics of change. She is affiliated to the International Coach Federation as a Master Certified Coach and is certified as an NLP Coach, a Coaching Development Coach and a Coach Supervisor. She co-trains the Coaching Development Supervisor Training.

Hilary’s style is intelligent, conversational and challenging. She is known for working in partnership and being transparent, so that clients are empowered and resourceful and able to self coach/supervise once the relationship has ended. She is there to encourage belief in the possibility of change, to challenge, support and assist her clients to make the connection between their own development and the needs of the organisation.

She has worked across many business and industry sectors including: Law, Retail and Investment Banking, Central Government, IT Services & Consulting, Media, Telecomm and Food.

Supervision assignments have included working with a client organisation to develop the criteria for the ongoing accreditation and professional development of internal coaches and training and supporting internal supervisors for those coaches.
